Shikha works closely with our senior architects on a variety of projects including retirement villages, multi-unit residential and commercial buildings. She is involved at all stages from concept design to design documentation and providing on-site monitoring services during construction.

After graduating, Shikha initially worked in the residential sector, which included provision of design for new builds, additions, and alterations. She worked with a group house provider producing affordable fit-for-purpose solutions for Housing New Zealand Corporation (now Kāinga Ora) and KiwiBuild projects and was involved throughout the entire process from concept design to construction. This experience has assisted Shikha to identify and understand the key needs of clients working to tight project budgets and timeframes, whilst creating aesthetically pleasing and durable solutions.

Shikha assists clients by completing successful, cost-effective design and documentation according to their requirements. She has excellent time management and communication skills and is, by nature, a problem-solver.

Shikha has always been passionate about architecture and its ability to influence and inspire people’s lives in a positive way. Her philosophy is to create great living and working environments in which inhabitants can thrive.

Shikha is currently working towards becoming a Licensed Building Practitioner.
