Craig has significant experience in the residential and commercial building surveying sectors both in New Zealand and the UK.

Since relocating to New Zealand in 2009, Craig has predominantly been involved in weathertightness related projects, with particular focus on defect analysis and providing expert witness advice in construction related disputes.

Craig’s involvement in dispute resolution spans from providing advice for residential property owners to assisting large commercial clients with non-residential properties and apartment complexes.

Other work in New Zealand has included undertaking pre-acquisition surveys, administering construction contracts and acting as a clerk of works during the erection of the concrete frame for a high-rise hotel complex.

Prior to moving to New Zealand, Craig worked for a large multi-national company and gained a wealth of experience in numerous fields such as fire risk assessments, disabled access audits, radon reduction solutions and flood damage remediation.

Craig is a motivated and ambitious professional who enjoys providing practical advice and exceeding clients’ expectations.

Shortly after arriving in New Zealand, Craig became a Registered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors (NZIBS) and is currently a mentor of Transitional Members, providing guidance on all aspects of New Zealand Building Surveying, to achieve Registered Member status.
