Alex Harris

I am a Chartered and Registered Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience across commercial, residential, civil infrastructure, retail, hospitality, education, and public realm projects.

As lead of Maynard Marks' Quantity Surveying team, I am responsible for providing technical leadership, mentoring staff, overseeing project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Originally from London, I have successfully transitioned my expertise to the New Zealand market and have worked on several high-profile projects, including major transport programmes.

I manage projects from inception through to completion, providing full cost consultancy services while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

My leadership approach combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and clear communication to achieve successful outcomes in complex environments.
