Julio Posse

I’m a Registered Architect and Associate at Maynard Marks, based in Auckland, with nearly 15 years of experience spanning residential, commercial, industrial, and educational sectors. My portfolio includes new builds, multi-unit developments, reclads, and complex remediation projects, with a strong emphasis on design quality, compliance, and buildability. 

I lead projects from concept through to completion, managing design teams, coordinating consultants, and overseeing documentation to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory compliance. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture, a certificate in Mastering AI in AEC, and am a trained BIM Manager. My proficiency in ArchiCAD and Revit supports a robust digital design process, enabling early clash detection and seamless collaboration across disciplines. 

My strengths lie in detailed design, risk management, and construction phase support. I’m particularly experienced in navigating resource and building consent processes and have a deep understanding of New Zealand’s building standards and legislative requirements. I have a keen interest in medium-density housing and community-focused developments, and I approach each project with a strategic mindset and a commitment to practical, well-resolved solutions. You’ll occasionally find me volunteering as Guest Critic in design lectures at the University of Auckland’s School of Architecture.
