Dominic has over 30 years’ experience as a project manager and chartered building surveyor across every stage of the property cycle from new development feasibility to construction, property and facilities management. He’s worked in the commercial, industrial, residential and retail sectors in New Zealand, the UK and South Africa.

Having previously been employed as the operations director for an international facilities management company, Dominic has experience of managing the operational and capital cost of buildings for commercial owners. As a result, he understands each client’s position and can think strategically in order to advise them on the best course of action for their particular situation.

At Maynard Marks, Dominic project manages construction projects including weathertightness remediation projects for a range of commercial clients, bodies corporate and government agencies. Because he understands the wider implications of his advice, he is able to present key findings and recommendations to senior audiences succinctly in order to facilitate strategic decision making.

Dominic is a skilled problem solver and has an excellent ability to highlight issues that may result in programme delays, which are on the critical path or which may become critical down the track if not addressed. His ability to understand each stakeholder’s position, means he can adjust his approach in order to build a team spirit, resolve conflicts and achieve each client’s critical success factors on time and budget.

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Building Surveying
  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
