Peter is a solution driven and commercially minded Project Manager with over 20 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors. His project experience is diverse with demonstrated expertise in managing professional teams and constructors to deliver projects to time, scope and budget.

A South African registered Architect, Peter owned and directed commercial practices for over a decade prior to moving to New Zealand in 2018. During his career, he has assumed responsibility for the delivery of many complex government infrastructure projects as well as for a range of commercial, retail and industrial facilities. Past clients include property developers, national retailers and global petrochemical companies. His considerable experience as a design and construction lead informs his decisions as a Project Manager.

Peter previously worked extensively with various South African Ministries, whilst managing Education, Health and Agricultural portfolios on behalf of Provincial Government. This included assisting The Ministry of Education, either directly or by managing state appointed teams of consultants to assess infrastructure needs and formulate plans for upgrades, repairs, alterations and new builds. He has a thorough understanding of process and procedure in the public sector and is highly experienced in procurement methodology including private public partnerships.

Peter is a specialist Project Manager for education projects, working on behalf of schools and the Ministry of Education in delivering 10 Year Property Plans and 5YA projects. He manages all aspects of projects, end-to-end, in the role of Engineer to Contract or Engineer’s Representative under NZS3910: 2013.

Adept at contract administration, Peter is an astute negotiator with great communications skills. He can liaise successfully with people from all walks of life, building long-term relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders alike. His ability to attract repeat clientele is indicative of his management expertise and track record, which is underpinned by a positive can-do attitude.
