I’m involved in a wide-range of building surveying work for bodies corporate, private residential owners and commercial and government property managers. This includes condition surveys and reports, dilapidation reports, building defect investigation reports and weather tightness investigations. I also undertake and train our team on 3D imaging and drone scanning services. These allow us to quickly provide accurate three-dimensional digital twin models of your property, enabling you to virtually walk through and around a building or space from your desktop or mobile device.
Prior to joining Maynard Marks, I completed my tertiary qualification at the University of Northumbria in the UK. While studying, I undertook a 12-month industrial placement with a building consultancy team in Leeds. My degree course saw me studying modules such as construction technology, building surveying, Building Information Modelling (BIM), planning and building legislation, contract administration, building performance and pathology, sustainable building technologies, and law for building surveyors. This knowledge, along with the work placement, has created a strong foundation for my career as a Building Surveyor.
I’m highly motivated and ambitious; and enjoy providing high quality and timely reports that will deliver value to clients. My goals are to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors (NZIBS) and, longer term, to become a Chartered and Registered Building Surveyor.
