Melissa Taylor, People and Capability Manager and Julio Posse, Architect, welcome Reagan to our Auckland office.

Maynard Marks was pleased to welcome Year 12 Lynfield College student Reagan Steenkamp to our Auckland office earlier this week, for a work experience day with the team.

This visit forms part of our ongoing commitment to supporting future talent, and promoting career pathways within the built environment.  We kicked off the day with an intro to our Auckland office, Reagan then joined building surveyors Malcolm Arnold and Rory Cass, on a site visit at one of our ongoing projects. The afternoon was filled with a work experience session with Julio Posse in our architectural team.

Reagan is interested in a career in architecture; our work experience days are designed to give students like Reagan the chance to experience real-word projects, learn more about the design process and specialist tools and get an authentic taste of what working in industry is really like. We hope these experiences offer a helpful perspective on how classroom learning eventually translates into a rewarding career and provide a great showcase for the many opportunities available within the property and construction industry.

We’d like to thank everyone involved in supporting Reagan's visit and for sharing their knowledge and experiences throughout the day.
